Our reclaimed elm pieces are individually handcrafted and will vary in grain, colour and texture. Natural movement, markings and minor splits are part of the timber’s character and are not defects. Each piece is purposely made to be uniquely imperfect.
Dimensions may vary by up to 1-3 cm. We have taken photos of instock pieces however as with natural timber pieces can vary with grain and slight tonal shifts , so please treat images as indicative . Please contact us if you require specific measurements or photos of available stock and we will be happy to help.
For natural timber pieces a little extra care is needed. Please avoid chemicals, wipes, excess water, spills, and scrubbing, as these can damage the furniture and remove the wax finish. Dust with a dry or slightly damp cloth, and protect the surface with drip trays, coasters, tablecloths, trays, and placemats. Our pieces are lightly waxed to retain their natural matte look and we suggest rewaxing every 6 months with a liquid beeswax to retain protection and colour.
