Shipping policy

Our Delivery Approach

We take great care to ensure your furniture arrives safely. For this reason, we use professional furniture removalists rather than standard courier services. To help manage delivery costs, we often engage single-operator removalists.

Removalists are independent third-party providers and are not affiliated with Maison Est. Shipping fees are non-refundable.


Standard Delivery Service

Front Door Delivery

  • Delivery is to ground floor front door only
  • Assembly and rubbish removal are not included
  • Removalists do not carry items up flights of stairs
  • Clear access into the property is required
  • Boxed items cannot be unboxed to overcome access restrictions
  • Someone must be present at the time of delivery

If installation or rubbish removal is required, please contact us prior to purchase for a separate quote. This does not include mirror or lighting installation. Installation services are not available in all areas.


Access Requirements

If your delivery involves:

  • Stairs
  • Lifts
  • Narrow hallways or doorways
  • Tight access
  • Difficult driveways

You must notify us before placing your order so we can provide an accurate delivery quote.

Additional charges may apply. If incorrect delivery options are selected at checkout, any price difference must be paid prior to dispatch.

If goods cannot be delivered due to access issues, the customer is responsible for return freight to our warehouse.


What to Expect

Once your order is ready for dispatch:

  • Our delivery partner will contact you within 2 business days to schedule delivery
    A delivery window will be provided
  • You may receive a confirmation call prior to arrival
  • Depending on your location, delivery may take between 1 to 4 weeks from dispatch.

We do not dispatch or deliver on weekends or public holidays.


Estimated Delivery Timeframes (From Dispatch)

NSW Metro: 1–4 weeks
NSW Regional: 2–4 weeks
VIC Metro: 1–2 weeks
VIC Regional: 2–4 weeks
QLD Metro: 2–4 weeks
QLD Regional: 2–4 weeks
SA Metro: 2–4 weeks
SA Regional: 2–4 weeks
ACT Metro: 1-3 weeks
ACT Regional: 1-3 weeks

Regional and inland deliveries may incur additional charges. All additional freight fees must be paid prior to booking delivery.

Please note delivery timeframes may change due to conditions beyond our delivery companies control.


Order Holding & Storage

We are unable to hold orders for longer than 4 weeks due to limited warehouse space.

If you are unable to accept delivery within this timeframe, please do not place your order.

If delivery is missed, a re-delivery fee will apply.

Goods must be accepted or collected within 14 days of availability notification. Storage fees may apply thereafter.


Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Ensure correct delivery address, email and phone number are provided
  • Ensure adequate access at the delivery location
  • Be present at the agreed delivery time

Maison Est is not responsible for late or failed deliveries due to circumstances beyond our control, including courier delays or adverse weather conditions.


Warehouse Collection

You may arrange your own courier or collect from our warehouse in Victoria. The exact address will be provided after purchase.
