Kind words from our customers

  • Bella, QLD

"I've purchased twice and will keep coming back. The product is excellent, but what really sets you apart is the service and delivery - as a Gold Coast local, nothing up here even comes close. Thanks a million!"

  • Alison, SA

    "Hello,

I wanted to let you know how thrilled I am about the console I bought from you recently. It arrived today, exactly on time, delivered by a young man called Michael who was courteous and helpful.

I am very impressed by the quality of the piece and how quickly it was delivered. I will be telling everyone I know about your
    store.

  • Lee, NSW

Hi Ray, thank you SO much for keeping me up to date with everything. Plus the photos, honestly you’ve just been brilliant. I might have to buy something else just for the amazing service. Thank you again.

  • Tara, SA

"Amazing find! The pieces I got work so perfectly in my home and are just like the pictures online. The finish and quality is so nice. Highly recommend! Shipping was reasonable too."

  • Alana, NSW

Received the chairs and they are beautiful! Can’t wait to shop more from your business soon. Thank you for all your help.

What is reclaimed timber furniture and is it sustainable?

Reclaimed timber furniture is one of the most sustainable furniture choices available. The wood is salvaged from old buildings, doors and structures, reducing landfill waste and minimising new logging. At Maison Est, we prioritise recycled timber and solid wood pieces designed to last.

Why does reclaimed timber have cracks or imperfections?

Natural knots, grain variation and small cracks are part of the character of reclaimed timber. These features reflect the history of the wood and are not faults. In many cases, reclaimed timber is stronger and more stable than newly milled wood due to years of natural seasoning.

How do I care for recycled timber furniture?

Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals. Natural waxes or timber oils can be used occasionally to nourish the surface. Keep furniture away from prolonged moisture and direct heat to maintain its integrity. Read more here.

Can I see your furniture in person?

Yes. You are welcome to visit our Melbourne furniture showroom in Abbotsford to experience the texture, grain and scale of our pieces. If you are shopping online, we can provide additional photos and details upon request. Simply send us an email on websales@maisonest.com.au and we are more than happy to help.
